I really like the thought of indoor flying and want to get into it with a trainer and then progress on to advanced models.


If you are prepared to build a model and get into indoor flying for the long term with conventional radio we have the the right models. This route will cost more than the ready to fly models but its a good long term investment . You need a good transmitter and a charger  that will work with the models you may get later once you get good at indoor flying . The advantage with this type of entry model is that all parts can be recycled to another model . We have the 2 or the best EPP models that are robust and will last you a long time . The FreeBee in a micro size for small halls or there is a 1m large version for bigger space . I fly models outdoors and need something for indoor flying that is 3d capable , easy to build and fly and as I have not dealt with walls need a robust model


If you need a serious indoor model to brush up on 3d flying and the chance is that you will have a few mishaps then a profile EPP is a good choice . There are a lot around but we know that its the subtle tweaks in the design  that makes the difference.  We have made careful selection  of models that  have been selling  ever since EPP planes were first introduced in 2004. As we have sold so many of these we can recommend the best set up according to your budget . The total package assume you have a transmitter , receiver and charger (we can supply these if you wish) would be £65 for a basic to £105 for the very best. This is for the Freeair Blade std size or the biplane version the Blitz. If you need a model for a smaller halls then The Micro Blade is perfect .  All packages include model +motor+esc+servos+lipo+prop & motor mount. The indoor planes designed for the F3p competition standard have features that increase precision in control at low air speeds and have very low wing loadings .A lot of how these models fly will depend on care in building and keeping the weight low. We have a huge choice of planes in this group but to make choice easier we  divide in 2 groups Epp and Depron . In general for all out perfection depron is the lighter material and the best models are made ,from depron  milled thin for maximum weight reduction . This is great in competitions where you will fly in a hall by yourself in a 3 min routine but in normal indoor venues these are not practical as a minor shunt with another model or a light crash will result in depron confetti. So we have 2 groups ones that are good compromise between performance of light depron and robustness of thin epp. We have great deals for compete packs from £70 to 110.
